As is traditional, Zenith Bank has once again set the stage for the Yuletide season with the Light-Up of Ajose Adeogun Street and Roundabout, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The ceremony, which took place on Saturday, November 23, 2024, was performed by the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive of Zenith Bank Plc, Dr. Adaora Umeoji.
This year’s Light-Up ceremony marks the 18th edition of the annual event, which has become a beloved tradition in Lagos.
The beautiful Christmas decorations, designed and installed by Quantum Markets, transform the entire stretch of Ajose Adeogun Street and Roundabout into a breathtaking yuletide wonderland.
The Light-Up ceremony is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Zenith Bank, aimed at promoting the spirit of Christmas and giving back to the community.
Speaking during the ceremony, Dr. Umeoji emphasized the importance of the event, saying, “Over the years, Zenith Bank has hosted this spectacular event, transforming the entire Ajose Adeogun Street into a breathtaking yuletide wonderland.
“Our beautiful and elaborate Christmas decorations have become a centre of attraction and shared on social media platforms globally”, she said.
Umeoji also urged everyone to imbibe the message and spirit of Christmas, which is about love, kindness, generosity, and respect for humanity.
She thanked the Lagos State Government for creating an enabling environment for the initiative and praised the efforts of Quantum Markets for their expertise and creativity in putting together the lovely decorations.
