The Zamfara State Government has distributed 200 Hilux vehicles to security agents in the state to enable them to fight bandits and other criminals.
The Governor of the State, Bello Matawalle, while presenting the vehicles to various security agencies in the state, said, “With the provision of the vehicles, we are confident that the problems of logistics faced by our security agents operating at various theatres across the state would be significantly addressed.”

The Governor stated that with the provision of the vehicles, the combat readiness in fighting banditry, kidnapping and cattle rustling, as well as efficiency for real-time monitoring of security situations would be enhanced.
