Top stakeholders in both the public and private sectors of the transportation industry in Nigeria have graced the 10th Nigeria Transport Lecture which held yesterday, May 23, 2024, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
Organized by Transport Day media, the event was attended by the Director General of the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC); Director General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA); Director General of the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT); the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Hon. Commissioner of Transportation in Lagos state.
Others who also attended the event included the 11 Plc; Toyota By CFAO; Nexant Consult; Nigerian Railway Corporation; Infinity Tyre Limited; Greenville LNG; Chairman of Association of Ground Handling Companies in Nigeria (AGHAN); NAHCO Aviance Plc; Julius Berger Nigeria Plc; Mikano Motors, Kaduna Dry Port, ICNL, among others.
With a theme, Transportation safety in Nigeria-the way forward, papers were presented by the FRSC; Lagos State ministry of Transportation; NADDC; NITT; and NCAA.
Aside the presentation of papers and discourse, the event also witnessed the presentation of awards to some deserving organisations and individuals.
