The Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Ikeja unit commander, ACC Emma Fekoya has stated that one of the key factors facilitating her command’s achievements is the sustainability of stakeholders engagement through educating the motoring public on road safety consciousness via different platforms.
She stated this recently while marking her 53rd birthday, even as she urged Nigerians, especially Lagosians, to emulate good human character.
To mark her birthday, there was a reflection on how Fekoya repositioned RS2.16 Ikeja Unit Command to be at par with all other sister agencies in Ikeja, in terms of relevance.
In her birthday remark, Acc Emma Fekoya, said she changed the mentality of staff attitude positively and dedication to work by rewarding neat and dedicated staff, while punishing those that fell out of line.
The FRSC Ikeja Unit Commander, who dedicated her birthday to her dear amiable husband, Pastor Babafemi Fekoya and her children for standing in the gap in prayers and understanding as the demands of the job gets her attention.
In her birthday message to Nigerians, she said- “Road Safety is a shared responsibility and it starts with you and I.”
