Skål Abuja has hosted a Health and Wellness Initiative with the theme “Bridging Wellness and Tourism” as part of the recreational body’s template to its members.
Skål is the only international group uniting all branches of the travel and tourism industry. Its members – the industry’s managers and executives – meet at local, national, regional and international levels to discuss and pursue topics of common interest.
Led by its Abuja chapter President Mrs Susan Akporiaye, the Skål Abuja members were taken through several layers of nature based health opportunities by MD/CEO of UandNature therapy clinic, Dr. Blessing Oladapo-Amao, who curated an engaging session on alternative medicine, natural therapies, and the future of wellness in the tourism sector.
Dr Oladapo – Amao also highlighted the benefits of holistic health practices in improving overall wellbeing and urged the busy industry executives to prioritise their overall well-being and that of their families and workers.
Held at UandNature therapy clinics CITEC Estate, Mbora, Abuja, this initiative reinforced Skål Abuja’s commitment under the leadership of Akporiaye to professional networking, sustainable tourism, and holistic well-being of all the member.
