Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, on Saturday, has revealed that he will be meeting with members of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 (PTF) to explore the possibility for the review of the 10 PM to 4 AM curfew.
The Governor, who made this known while briefing the press at the State House, Marina, however, noted that the curfew is still in full force.
Sanwo-Olu said, “The 10 PM curfew is still on. It is a national regulation and it was issued by the PTF. We will be having a discussion with the PTF during the week and if we have additional information, we will be passing across.

“This is a decision that was taken by the President himself. It is a national issue, so, the curfew is still on. And we still need to comply with the Federal Government directives.”
The PTF, following the lifting of the lockdown occasioned by the pandemic, had on May 4, 2020, imposed a nationwide curfew from 6 PM to 8 AM. It later reviewed the timing to between 10 PM and 4 AM on June 1, 2020.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control as of Friday night, Lagos has recorded 18,083 infections including 2,653 cases on admission, 15,228 discharged patients, and 202 fatalities.
