The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved the postings and redeployment of Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service, including the newly inaugurated ones.

Key among the postings is that of Dr. Anthonia Ekpa, who until recently, was the Director in charge of Road Transport and Mass Transit Administration, Federal Ministry of Transportation.

Dr. Ekpa, has served Nigeria in various capacities starting from the University as an academic and also in the Public and Civil Services respectively

She has been a Director for eight years with much-noted achievements in the Ministries, Departments and Agencies she has served.

With an outstanding academic record-PhD, MSc, MA (with distinction) and BA (with second class upper), she has earned a reputation of being a resource person in many fields.

Dr. Ekpa has several publications including some in seminal books and journals and is a Member of major International and Professional bodies/ organizations.

Also, Dr. Magdalene Ajani has also been moved from Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF)-Service Policies and Strategy Office to the Ministry of Transportation, as its new Permanent Secretary.

Bitrus Bako Nabasu, Dr. Nasir Sani-Gwarzo and Engr. Hassan Musa are all retained in the ministries of Petroleum Resources; Trade, Industry and Investment; and Aviation.

In the same vein, Ernest Umakhihe moved from OHCSF- Common Services Office to the Ministry of Works and Housing.

Chinyeaka Ohaa moves from Federal Capital Territory to Ministry of Power; William Alo from Ministry of Labour and Employment to Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs; Olusade Adesola from Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs to FCT; Esther Jack from Ministry of Power to Ministry of Water Resources; and Akpan Sunday from Ministry of Mines and Steel Development to Ministry of Science and Technology.

Abel Olumuyiwa from FCSC to Ministry of Environment; Maurice Mbaeri from Ministry of Police Affairs to OSGF -General Services Office; and Festus Daudu from Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs to OHCSF -Common Service Office.

The rest are Nebolisa Anako from Police Service Commission to Ministry of Information and Culture; Aliyu Ahmed from Ministry of Finance (Special Duties) to Ministry of Finance; and Temitope Fashedemi from OHCSF Special Duties Office to Ministry of Police Affairs.

For those newly posted, expected dates of resumption vary from August 27 to September 30, 2020.
