The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola and Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Mohammed Bello-Koko have held talks with officials of the Port of Rotterdam, Netherlands on port management system.
This is in line with efforts to further boost the efficiency and competitiveness of Nigeria’s seaports.
The Minister and the NPA MD are members of the Presidential delegation to Netherlands led by President Bola Tinubu. The duo therefore used the opportunity offered by the trip to visit the Port of Rotterdam, where they exchanged ideas on efficient port operations.
A post from his verified official X handle @MohdBelloKoko, the NPA-boss said:
“As a member of President @OfficialABAT’s delegation to the Netherlands, the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji @GboyegaOyetola and I had the privilege of visiting the Port of Rotterdam.
“During this visit, we exchanged ideas about the port management system, drawing parallels between our respective operations as we both operate the landlord model of port operations.”
