A fatal crash involving a tanker and a car, on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Thursday evening, has resulted in the death of an individual.
The crash occurred along Kara bridge, en route Ibadan from Berger.
This is as traffic is beginning to build up on the road, from Berger, as people gathered at the scene of the accident, as of 7:00 pm.
The driver of the truck, who was said to have allegedly hit the car has reportedly escaped, while a man, said to be his assistant (Motor boy) was being held by the driver of the car and other people.
According to an official of the Federal Road Safety Corps, whose team later arrived at the scene, the deceased, a man, was said to be a hawker on the road.
The FRSC team noted that efforts were being made to take the corpse to appropriate quarters.
