The Nigerian Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), has described as monumental, the commencement of production of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), at the Dangote refinery in Lagos.
Saying it is the right for the country towards energy independence and
economic growth, NUPENG added that it is aware of the potential and happy about the opportunities this development will bring in terms of employment for Nigerians, socio-economic prosperity, and monumental growth of the country.
In a congratulatory letter to the President/Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of the Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, signed by its General Secretary, Afolabi Olawale, NUPENG lauded President Bola Tinubu and Aliko Dangote, saying, “The leadership and entire members of the NUPENG, celebrate and felicitate with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, and the entire management team and staff of Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Company on the historic and landmark commencement of the production of gasoline, otherwise known as Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).
