The Lagos state chapter Chairman of the Nigeria Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO), Alhaji Kayode Odunowo has stated that the association has entered into a working collaboration with the state government to ensure safety on the roads.
In an exclusive chat with Transport Day in his Ijora, Lagos office recently, the association boss said NARTO is collaborating with the Lagos state ministry of Transport to ensure that only roadworthy vehicles are allowed to lift products from the different lifting points in the state.
According to him, the leadership of the union has been sensitizing its members to ensure that their vehicles are always properly serviced.
Alhaji Odunowo expressed his readiness to work with his members to ensure that they contribute their quota to the economic development of the country.
