The Motor Mechanics & Technicians Association of Nigeria (MOMTAN), has elected Alhaji Maruf Adebayo Arowolo, as their National President.
The Delegate Conference Electoral Committee announced the final results of the Presidential Election of Momtan, during their delegate conference held in Osun state yesterday, the 31st of March 2022.
In an acceptance speech by the president elect, Alhaji Maruf Arowolo said, “it’s a great honor and responsibility bestowed on me on this remarkable day, indeed members of MOMTAN have spoken clearly and have given me their mandate to be the President of MOMTAN. By these words I accept the mandate “. It is a profound honor and huge responsibility on me”.
The President elect commended all those that supported him and contributed to the success of the election and “I am sure you have exerted your votes not just because you believe in me but for the wisdom and visions we share together for our Association to reach greater heights”.
He said to members, “this victory belongs to our numerous youths who are in this trying times eager to acquire technical supports, especially in mechatronic trainings. This victory will enable me to uplift our youths throughout the 36 states of Nigeria.
“We have made it work in Lagos State Chapter during my reign as the state chairman and I have no doubt that MOMTAN through me, will carry our youths throughout all the states for best trainings in automobile engineering.
“We must have courage and competence to make our association greater and benefit the life of each and every one of us”, he said.
