The Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mallam Muhammad Musa Bello has expressed deep sadness over the crash of the Nigerian Air Force Beechcraft King Air B350i aircraft which occurred at Bassan Jiwa village, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) in which 7 Air Force personnel lost their lives.

A statement made available to Transport Day in Abuja, stated that Malam Bello, on behalf of the FCT Administration and the entire residents of the Federal Capital Territory extends his deepest condolences to His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, the Honourable Minister of Defence, Maj. Gen. Bashir Magashi, the Honourable Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Isiaka Amao and the entire Officers and Men of the Nigerian Air force.

While praying that such an incidence does not occur again, Mallam Bello condoled the families of the deceased personnel and prayed for the repose of their souls.
