Mandilas Group Ltd has donated units of air conditioning for use in the 100 -bed isolation centre at Onikan, Lagos as part of its contributions in support of Government’s effort towards mitigating the spread of COVID 19 pandemic in Nigeria.
The company made this known in a statement issued in Lagos on Sunday.
It said that its team started the installation on Thursday, March 26, 2020, and it had since been completed.
The Group Chief Executive Officer, Mandilas Group Ltd, Ms Ola Debayo-Doherty said the company provided 32 Carrier Ceiling Concealed Ducted Air-conditioning units at the newly set up centre.
She commended the Lagos State Government’s efforts in combating the spread of the deadly virus and lauded the partnership with the GTBank.
She said, “We are very proud to partner with Lagos State and GTBank in setting up a fit for purpose isolation and treatment centre at Mobolaji Johnson Arena”.
“The air conditioning units are humidity and temperature controlled with high filtration levels for clean indoor air quality, preventing the presence of stale air in the room.
“This will encourage habitation and make individuals at the isolation centre feel more comfortable.”
Mandilas Group is the parent company of Mandilas Motors who launched a quick service centre inside the NNPC (Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation) station on Alfred Rewane (Kingsway) road and also in Abuja.
