The Special Marshal RS2.1Lagos Sector Command has elected new leadership to pilot the affairs of the group in Lagos state. The event was recently held at the FRSC Sector Command’s parade ground, Ojodu Lagos, with accreditation of eligible voters and contestants.

Speaking after the election and inauguration of new exco members of the RS2.1 Special Marshals, the newly elected  State Coordinator, SM Segun Akintan, thanked everyone on behalf of the Newly elected state executives for safe conduct in electing leaders of choice to steer the affairs of the Special Marshal RS2.1, Lagos.

He commended the past administration of SM Olusola Olojede and all Unit Coordinators and their Secretaries who have recorded unprecedented achievements, promising that his administration will continue with the good work and pilot the affairs at the state level.

SM Akintan also thanked all the outgoing Unit Coordinators and the outgoing Units Secretaries for the support they gave SM Olusola Olojede while discharging his duties.

He said, “as you all know, Special Marshal RS2.1 Lagos is known to be a Pacesetter in good works, and our duty as members of the Committee of Unit Coordinators is to strive with all diligence by guiding against anything that would make us to lose focus”.

He said “the philosophy of the new administration, which metamorphosed majorly from The Progressive Winning Team (TPWT) to what we have as the core State Executives would be an all-inclusive Administration. “No Victor no vanquished”.

“I commend the role played and doggedness exhibited by other contestants, led by our own SM Zaccheaus Majonagbe (the immediate past State Financial Secretary), at the just concluded State Elections”.

In appreciation, Akintan thanked the Electoral Committee headed by the Sector Commander FRSC Lagos, Corps Commander Olusegun Ogungbemide and the Returning Officer, SM Toyin Kadiku,  Zonal Coordinator, Special Marshal;  for carrying out a free and fair election during the state Special Marshals’ Election.

Special Marshals who emerged winners are State Coordinator, SM. Segun Akintan. (Pastor); Deputy State Coordinator; SM. Kuku Lekan; State Secretary, SM. Olabisi O Dennis; Assistant State Secretary, SM. Adeleye Agiri; and Financial Secretary, SM. Adebiyi Emmanuel Olufemi.

Others are Treasurer, SM. Bola Olupitan; Public Enlightenment Officer, SM. Jimmy Amusu (Pastor); Welfare Officer, SM. William Ainabe; Provost, SM. Ndupu Alex and Auditor, SM. Obuzor Nduka.
