Following the release of the manifest of passengers onboard the ill-fated Abuja-Kaduna bound train thatwasattacked by terrorists on Monday night,, there have been rumours that the Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani was a victim.
A statement signed by his SA Media and Publicity, Honourable Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani informed that although the manifest had a similar name to that of Kaduna State number three, citizen, he was not on board.
“This is to dispel the rumours and clear the air that Kaduna State Speaker, Rt. Honourable Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani was not on board the train.
“He is hale, hearty and safe. A name similar to his was on the manifest, but he was not the one,” it clarified.
The statement thanked well wishers, families, friends and colleagues who put calls through to find out the true position.
