Chairman of the Autocare Centre, Engr. Greg Ogbeifun, who disclosed this at a media parley in Lagos said that the Director General of the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Dr. Jelani Aliyu, and the Managing Director of Toyota Nigeria Limited, Mr. Kunle Ade-Ojo, would perform the official commissioning.

He said, “Arrangements are on hand for February 11, Diverse will be formally commissioned with the honour of Mr. Jelani Aliyu, the Director General of the National Automotive Design and Development Council, who would be the person to commission the work.

“We will also be honoured with the presence of Mr. Kunle Ade-Ojo, the Managing Director of Toyota Nigeria Ltd. He is going to be co-commissioning at the event.”

Ogbeifun said the facility with sophisticated modern equipment has handled at least 450 vehicles in the last one year adding that the high-level customer satisfaction has encouraged continued referral with requests for its services coming from Port Harcourt, Abuja and Lagos.

He said because of the firm’s excellent service, Toyota has accredited Diverse AutoCare as one of its partners and dealer in its original spare parts.

“One of our biggest accomplishments is that Toyota Nigeria Limited heard about the workshop and actually sent a team to come and see what we are doing there, and after their visit, a couple of months later they appointed us their representatives for their warranty jobs in that region.

“Also, they have given us accreditation to carry out services on their behalf, and importantly, be a dealer of their original spare parts in that axis. So, that is the level of confidence,” he said.

Ogbeifun added that the Autocare centre has enjoyed patronage from the Edo State Government making the state government its biggest client.

“Our biggest client is the State government. Till today, 80% of our clients are government and they have lived up to expectations in terms of payments,” Ogbeifun said.

The Autocare Centre in partnership with the Edo State Traffic Control and Management Agency ((EDSTMA) had recently trained 130 drivers in the state civil service.
