The Indigenous automaker, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) has joined the bandwagon in using the custom “FUEL – LOL” number plate, but this time to promote its fuel-efficient cars and the gas-powered ones.
Recall that an all-electric Tesla Model X sedan was recently spotted in Lagos with a number plate, “FUEL – LOL”, which seems to poke fun at traditional International Combustion Engine-powered (ICE) vehicles.
Sharing a picture of an IVM-branded Caris sedan with the plate, Innoson said: “FUEL LOL! The IVM Caris gives you the best of both worlds: fantastic fuel economy and luxury.”

Innoson noted that :

Twitter user, @AdeyemiDavid, was the first to share 3 pictures of the green-wrapped Tesla with the number plate.
Reacting to the post, JDAutoscenter said it actually worked on the stunning wraps on the Tesla and the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon seen in the picture. To back up its claim, JDAutoscentre shared footage taken from its garage showing the Tesla and a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon SUV.
