It said the operation brought to 211 the total of migrants it had rescued in the last 48 hours.

The charity group said it’s Sea-Watch 3 vessel was now sailing in international waters in the area of the Italian island of Linosa, waiting for a safe port to disembark the migrants.

Reuters reported that most of the rescued 211 people were from Africa, including 20 women, 62 children, and a few months old baby.

“We immediately need a safe port,” Sea-Watch wrote on Twitter.
