About 300 United Kingdom nationals were evacuated from Nigeria through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on Wednesday.
The evacuation flight operated by British Airways departed Lagos to London at about 4:16 PM.

Last week, the United Kingdom evacuated over 500 nationals from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja and the MMIA, Lagos.
The UK government also evacuated about 213 of its nationals through Lagos on Monday.
The British High Commission in Nigeria had noted that vulnerable people would be prioritised in the exercise.
