Coscharis Motors has unveiled the sixth generation BMW 7 Series, one of the world’s super-luxury cars, to the Nigerian market. There were earlier 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2 Series produced by the German automaker.
The 2019 edition of the BMW 7 Series is said to have affluent and spacious interior loaded with high-tech and comfort features.
According to Coscharis, the BMW comes with a more distinctive, luxurious and outstanding dynamics.
Coscharis in a statement says that the vehicle, “stands out with its prestigious, elegant appearance, superlative comfort and exceptionally sporty performance, a combination that only the BMW 7 Series delivers in this class.”
The Marketing Manager for BMW at Coscharis Motors, Cletus Aregbesola, says in the statement that the BMW 7 Series sedan has experienced a wide range of updates, adding that the updates have positioned the flagship model as a trend-setter, introducing world-class features being imitated by other auto manufacturers.
Enjoying the lowest weight among vehicles in its class, owners of the super-luxury model would not have to bother much about fuel consumption. This is also enhanced with petrol engines that are fuel-efficient.
“The new BMW 7 Series looks like a completely new model, especially at the front and back. In many respects, it has become even more luxurious with numerous highly advanced components. They include more powerful and fuel-efficient petrol engines, a new pioneering infotainment system and the latest driver-assistance systems.”
The sixth-generation BMW 7 Series Sedan is told to yield maximum ride comfort with dynamic driving experience. “This is due to an advanced chassis design complete with a self-levelling two-axle air suspension included as standard.
With its intelligent mix of aluminium, high-strength steel and a body structure benefiting from magnesium and carbon reinforcements (carbon core), the BMW 7 Series also has the lowest weight among its competitors,” it states.
Coscharis says all models but the M760Li and 745Le xDrive are available in a short- and a long-wheelbase version.
The BMW X range comprises X6, X5, X4 and X3. Orders have recently been placed for the latest and first-ever BMW X7, according to the auto dealer.
The vehicle’s well-tuned air suspension is said to keep its ride smooth as silk. The Active Comfort Drive is for adjusting the suspension even further.
The vehicle is also equipped with state-of-the-art technology such as qi-compatible wireless device charging and the BMW iDrive infotainment system with a 10.2-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay smartphone integration, voice and gesture controls, a Wi-Fi hot spot, Bluetooth, two USB ports, a navigation system, satellite radio, HD Radio, and a 16-speaker Harmon Kardon surround-sound system.
The iDrive interface features crisp graphics and it is easy to operate with smartphone-like pinch and swipe gestures.
Its standard safety features are front and rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, adaptive cruise control, and BMW’s Active Driving Assistant, which includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking and lane departure warning.
There is also a surround-view parking camera, a head-up display, front cross-traffic alert, lane keep assist, side collision avoidance, night vision assist and the semi-autonomous Traffic Jam Assistant.
