The Crude Oil Refinery Owners Association of Nigeria (CORAN) has commended the efforts of the chairman of Dangote Group, Mr. Aliko Dangote and his team at Dangote Refinery on the commencement of production of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise known as petrol.
Chairman of CORAN, Mr. Momoh Oyarekhua, in a commendation letter to Dangote stated: that “This landmark event, accomplished by one of CORAN’s distinguished members, showcases the transformative power of private sector-led initiatives in reshaping the nation’s energy landscape.
“The commencement of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) production is a significant leap forward in Nigeria’s pursuit of self-sufficiency in petroleum product refining and the development of associated industries. It is a clear demonstration of the immense value that CORAN members bring to the table”.
