President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Dr. (Mrs.) Anthonia Ekpa, as Permanent Secretary in the Federal Civil Service.
Until now, she was the Director in charge of Road Transport and Mass Transit Administration, in the Federal Ministry of Transportation. Eleven others were also appointed.
The other appointees are Akinlade Oluwatoyin; Alkali Bashir Nura; Anyanwutaku Adaora Ifeoma; Ardo Babayo Kumo and Belgore Shuaib and Mohammad Lamido.
Others are Hussaini Babangida; Mahmuda Mamman; Meribole Emmanuel Chukwuemeko; Mohammed Aliyu Ganda; Tarfa Yerima Peter and Udon Manilola Omokunmi.
The Head of Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi Esan, made the disclosure yesterday in Abuja.
A statement obtained by Transport Day in Abuja and issued by the Director, Communication, Office of the Head of Service, Olawunmi Ogunmosunle, said the inauguration of the officials would be announced in due course.
