Airbus is to pay 2.1 billion euros (2.3 billion dollars) to settle an ongoing corruption probe with French authorities, a judicial source in Paris said on Friday.
The news comes days after the European aircraft manufacturer said it was setting aside 3.6 billion euros in total to settle investigations by French, British and United States authorities.
The probes relate to allegations of bribery and corruption and to inaccuracies in filings made under arms trade regulations in the U.S, according to the company.
The French settlement was approved by a court on Friday afternoon, the judicial source said.
Airbus said on Tuesday that court hearings on its settlement agreements in Britain and the U.S were also expected on Friday.
The U.S settlement also has to be approved by a regulator.
