The Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) Nigeria has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Nigerian Air Force to guarantee aviation safety and security.
This was made public in a statement by the Chief Executive Officer of the AIB, Akinola Olateru, on Thursday.
He said, “Our duty, as Accident Investigators of Civil Aviation, is one thing but understanding one’s needs is very critical to the success of an institution.”
Olateru stated that the Bureau was looking forward to collaborating with more parastatals like the Nigerian Navy, Nigerian Police Force, Federal Road Safety Corporation, and Nigerian Emergency Management Agency.
