Coscharis Motors, a leading name in automobile business in Nigeria, has re-affirmed its readiness to provide effective after-sales services (servicing and genuine spare parts) for the over 3000 Geely vehicles running on Nigerian roads.
This assurance was given yesterday, Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the Ikeja, Lagos, after-sales facility of the company, when it unveiled the “Geely’s Found a New Home” campaign, and launched the Geely Workshop & Aftersales Takeover.
It would be recalled that in November last year, Coscharis officially announced its partnership with Geely as its authorized distributor and assembler in Nigeria.
Briefing journalists, Executive Director, Coscharis Group, Cosmas Jr. Maduka, stated that “today, under the theme “Geely’s Found a New Home,” we are not just launching a new workshop, we are launching a new promise.
“A promise to deliver excellence. A promise to offer real value. A promise to serve you with integrity, innovation, and intentional care. A promise to deliver excellence. A promise to offer real value”.
Reassuring about the quality of Geely products, he said “Geely is not just a car brand. It is a global symbol of progress—built on precision engineering, advanced technology, and customer-focused design. And now, that very symbol has found a new and trusted home with Coscharis.
“We are proud to extend our legacy of excellence-a legacy that already spans top-tier brands like BMW, Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, Renault—to now include Geely.
“But more than just carrying the name, we carry the responsibility. And that responsibility is captured in our mission: “To deliver excellent products and services, providing customers with the best value for their money, while contributing to societal development through technological innovation.
“When we say Geely has found a new home, we mean it in three key ways: One – This is a home of service excellence. We have launched a dedicated Geely workshop, equipped to global standards, staffed by brand-trained technicians, and supported with genuine spare parts and best-in-class diagnostics. Also speaking, were the Director of Sales and After-Sales, Ufuoma Umukoro and the General Manager, Marketing and Communivation, Abiona Babarinde, both encouraged all Geely brand owners to avail themselves of the quality service being offered by Coscharis in all its 13 locations across the country. According to Abiona Babarinde, “we don’t just sell these products, we give all our customers the 360 degree experience”.
The Country Manager, Middle East/Africa Business Unit, Geely Auto International Corporation, Paladin Yao, stated that all Geely vehicles in the country are sold with a warranty of six years or 200,000 kilometres, whichever one comes first.
The Assistant General Manager, After-sales, for Geely, Opara, Chukwu Valentine, who conducted journalists round the facility that has been fitted with spare parts store, automatic vehicles lifts, regular and special tools among others, revealed that the technicians engaged to cater for Geely vehicles have been trained by expert Geely staff theoretically and practically.
