Coscharis Motors has once again opened a new challenge in the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment with the unveiling of the brand new Ford Territory for the Nigerian market.
The elegant SUV was unveiled to selected customers and the auto press on Wednesday at the first elevated auto showroom in Lagos on Adeola Odeku Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Speaking during the event, the Deputy Group Managing Director, Coscharis Group, Fred Amobi, said “As part of our corporate objectives as Coscharis Group to continually deliver value to our stakeholders in any industry in which we find ourselves as players, Coscharis Motors, our flagship subsidiary and the exclusive representative of the iconic Ford brand in Nigeria is today laying emphasis on the leadership status within the Nigerian automobile ecosystem with the introduction of the All New Ford Territory today.”
He explained that the “Ford Territory is a midsize SUV designed for tech savvy automobile enthusiasts. This vehicle is sure to satisfy the work and leisure needs of our customers and other stakeholders alike.
“As with all the brands and nameplates that we represent in Nigeria, Coscharis Motors has invested heavily on both human and material resources in order to ensure that all necessary support including workshop equipments, certified OEM trained technicians and OEM approved original parts and accessories required to keep the vehicle in top shape, for optimum performance at all times, are readily available.
“Our steadfastness in the regular introduction of new innovative products into the Nigerian automobile industry underpins the level of confidence we repose in the possibility of a revamped national economy.
“This is also evidenced in our huge investment in our automobile assembly plant located in Awoyaya, Lagos, where we currently assemble the Ford Ranger and other brands.

The Territory which comes with 6 all round airbags, is fitted with led headlights and day time running lamps. It also has led tail lights and panoramic sunroof.
Ford says with the Territory, you can “go hands-freewith seamless integration with your smartphone.”
Fitted with a 1.5 litre Ecoboost trend, the Ford Territory is stylish, offering safety features.
The vehicle is also fitted with Ford Co-Pilot 360, an advanced suite of driver-assist safety technologies.
The piece of US technology is being offered for between N28m and N38m depending on the spec.
