The Nigerian Institute of Civil Engineers has conferred the prestigious Excellence Performance Award on the Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Engr. Fidet Okhiria. The event which held at the International Conference Centre, Abuja recently, was witnessed by top functionaries in the public and private sectors. Okhiria bagged a First Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Lagos in 1985 and has varied and extensive experience in the NRC. He has during his career with the corporation, been District Manager in different parts of the country, and has gained experience in different fields such as Personnel, Civil Engineering, Material Management etc. Okhiria is a Fellow of the Institute of Strategic Management; Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Fellow, Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport; Member, Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN); Member, Nigerian Society of Engineers; Member, Nigerian Institute of Management etc.]]>
