The Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, says the Third Mainland Bridge (TMB) would be reopened by February 15.
He said this during the inspection of construction work on major roads and bridges in Lagos State on Thursday. According to him, after the reopening of the Third Mainland Bridge, work would begin on the Falomo Bridge.
TMB was partially shut on July 24 last for rehabilitation works. The FG had earlier announced that the construction would be divided into two phases of three months on each carriageway, starting with the Oworonsoki bound carriageway.
The minister explained that the ENDSARS protest caused the extension of the completion date.
