The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, has revealed that 315 Nigerians stranded in the United Arab Emirates and Senegal have been evacuated.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, made this known via Twitter.
Onyeama stated that 298 Nigerians were repatriated from the UAE while 17 citizens were evacuated from Senegal.

The Minister remarked that the evacuees tested negative for the virus and would undergo 14-day self-isolation as well as get tested for the virus again.

“On arrival, all evacuees will undergo the mandatory 14 days self-isolation according to the new evacuation protocol by Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
“17 Nigerian evacuees from Senegal arrived Abuja with @AirSenegal,” he wrote on Monday.
