Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, an evacuation flight from Nigeria to India have left with no fewer than 312 Indians.

It was gathered that the evacuees were conveyed from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, and the Port Harcourt International Airport on Thursday.

The High Commission of India in Abuja confirmed this in a tweet, noting that the flight was operated by a Nigerian airline, Air Peace.

The Commission remarked that the airline would also repatriate stranded Nigerians from India on its way back.

It wrote, ā€œEnabled the repatriation today of 312 Indian nationals from Lagos and Port Harcourt by Air Peace, their third direct flight to India in two weeks, which will also evacuate Nigerians from India.ā€
