Other safety features include Rear Occupant Alert, 6-airbag system with front & side airbags and curtain airbags and extensive use of additional hot stamping materials and Advanced High Strength Steel (AHSS) plates.

With Hyundai SmartSense, the Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC) system automatically holds the brakes to prevent the car from rolling back when starting from a hill. Parking Distance Warning (PDW) Sensors in the front and rear bumpers detect and warn the driver about imminent obstacles for safe parking.

Santa also offers Low Beam Assist-Dynamic (LBA-D), Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning (RCCW) Radar sensors and the Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) Radar sensors.

The colour of the instrument panel changes according to the driving mode selected (Comfort, Eco, or Sport). Comfort mode provides optimized torque transfer for a stable driving, ECO mode prioritizes fuel economy, while Sport mode boost performance to deliver a dynamic drive. Finally, use the Smart mode to automatically switch among the other modes based on road conditions and driving style.

You have an option of the 2.4-litre engine or 3.54-litre engine with 6/8 speed automatic transmissions offering maximum fuel efficiency and durability.

Palisade

The all-new Palisade has come to replace the Santa Fe XL, and up the game against the competition.

Before its release to the market, the Palisade has undergone various tests, coming out with impressive figures, key among these tests is that carried out by the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration.

NHTSA’s independent analysis tests on the SUV shows 100% successes in Frontal Barrier Crash rating, side crash rating and side barrier rating.

The Palisade, which has already gained very wide international reviews world over, is offered in three trims of SE, SEL and Limited.

Coming with 8-speed automatic transmission, all models are powered by a 3.8-litre V6 (291 horsepower, 262 lb-ft of torque), while Front-wheel drive is standard, and an all-wheel drive is an option.

For the SE trim, standard features include heated mirrors, rear parking sensors, remote keyless entry, push-button ignition, full-range adaptive cruise control and second-row air-conditioning controls.

The owner will also enjoy power-folding second-row bench seats, 60/40-split-folding third-row seats, an 8-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and three USB ports up front (two USB ports for the second row).

Advanced safety features include automatic high beams, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a drowsy driver monitor, lane-keeping assist and a rear passenger reminder.

The Premium package requires the Convenience package and adds LED headlights, leather upholstery, a power front passenger seat, driver-seat memory functions, heated second-row seats, power-folding third-row seats, and a heated steering wheel. Also, the Drive Guidance package includes enhanced driver-assist features, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a navigation system, satellite radio, an intercom system, and Hyundai’s Blue Link Connected Car System.

The range-topping Limited trim comes with all of the above as well as a dual sunroof, automatic wipers, additional driver-seat adjustments, premium leather upholstery, ventilated front and second-row seats, a head-up display, a digital gauge cluster, a surround-view camera system, a blind-spot camera, interior ambient lighting, and a 12-speaker Harman Kardon premium surround-sound system.
