A Middle East Airlines flight has evacuated 140 Lebanese from Nigeria through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The evacuation is part of humanitarian flight services approved by the Ministry of Aviation following the continued spread of the coronavirus.
About 637 Europeans were also evacuated on Friday through the MMIA, Lagos.
The 140 Lebanese nationals were flown out of the Lagos Airport by Middle East Airlines, MEA, after going through series of screening.
The aircraft which flew into the country under humanitarian operations departed at 16.18pm on Sunday.
The Canadian and American governments are also set to evacuate its nationals on Monday (today) from the Lagos Airport.
