The 3rd International Maritime Business to Business conference and exhibition with the theme”Developing Maritime Infrastructure in Africa”, is holding at Oriental hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos from 15 -17 May 2018.

She said different round table sessions are meant to deal with various subjects affecting the development of maritime infrastructures such as maritime security, maritime law and arbitration, port development, maritime transportation, marine insurance to mention few.
“It is also our responsibility to take advantage of the global shortage of skilled maritime manpower by developing our maritime education and training institutions to produce the skilled manpower necessary for our continent and the global market. As our contribution to youth development, we are pleased to announce that 5 five young people won scholarships to attend this event and be mentored”, she added.
She concluded that the Lagos international maritime week is an event that brings stakeholders from around the world to deliberate on current challenges facing the industry, network and proffer solutions.
